10-Hour General Industry OSHA Outreach Training Program
Programming is intended to provide entry level awareness of safety and health hazards a worker may encounter in a general industry work site. Instruction is limited to a minimum of 10 hours of training and will include information regarding:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Walking/Working Surfaces (fall protection)
- Exit Routes, EAPs, Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection
- Electrical Hazards
- PPE
- Hazard Communication
- Hazardous Materials
- Material Handling
- Machine Guarding
- Introduction to Industrial Hygiene
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Ergonomics
- Safety and Health Programs
Programming is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training will emphasize safety and health hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention in a general industry work site. Instruction is limited to a minimum of 30 hours of training and will include some or all of the following information regarding:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Managing Safety and Health
- Walking/Working Surfaces (fall protection)
- Exit Routes, EAPs, Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection
- Electrical Hazards
- PPE
- Hazard Communication
- Hazardous Materials
- Material Handling
- Permit Required Confined Spaces
- Lockout/Tagout
- Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Machine Guarding
- Welding Cutting and Brazing
- Introduction to Industrial Hygiene
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Ergonomics
- Safety and Health Programs
