"Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work."

Beth Goodwin is the Diretor of Safety Services for TRS Wellness.  She is a respected Safety Consultant and Athletic Trainer who works with many of our clients to achieve their occupational health and safety goals.

Beth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR in 2008. She also pitched for the college’s softball team during her time there. Beth went on to earn a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Henderson State University and became a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer in 2013. Since then she has also become an Associate Safety Professional by the Board of Certifiied Safety Professionals, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist.

Beth coached college softball after her post-graduate schooling, but soon felt compelled to not only train and develop athletes but to prevent injury. After pursuing her new career path, Beth spent the next few years developing ACL injury prevention programs as well as return to play programs for high schools and sports performance platforms.

Expanding her profession even further, Beth now shares her skills with individuals in the industrial setting. Beth's passion is to educate the industrial athlete on injury and illness prevention. She feels as if industrial athletes deserve the same treatment and information that sports athletes receive. She has been part of the TRS Wellness Injury & Illness Prevention team since 2014.

Outside of work, Beth continues to enjoy giving softball pitching lessons and working with girls on the softball recruiting process.
